New character posters have debuted for the upcoming comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting, based on Heidi Murkoff’s best-selling pregnancy self-help book. Yahoo! Movies has debuted the first official trailer for ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’! The star studded comedy focuses on five couples whose intertwined lives are turned upside down by the challenges of impending parenthood. Brooklyn plays Skyler, a perennially perky character who sails through her pregnancy with twins much to the consternation of her peers. The movie hits theaters on May 11, 2012!

Brooklyn is currently in Atlanta filming ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’. Today we have first photos from the set of the movie, including some of Brooklyn with a prosthetic baby bump! In the video below E! News also gives you the scoop on Brooklyn’s growing belly.

Brooklyn is currently attending the 2011 ESPY Awards at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Lionsgate and the producers of the film adaptation of the worldwide bestselling book “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” have just announced that Brooklyn has been cast to star with Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez in the film, which is expected to begin shooting mid-Summer 2011 in Atlanta, and will be in theaters everywhere on May 11, 2012.

Brooklyn will play Skyler in one of the film’s interlocking stories. The perennially perky character, who is married to a much older man (a former Nascar driver), sails through her pregnancy with twins much to the consternation of her peers. Brooklyn said of her new movie, “Secretly, I’m mostly excited for my prosthetic belly.”

Kirk Jones is directing the film, which was acquired from a script by Heather Hach and re-written by Shauna Cross. The film is based on the book by Heidi Murkoff that has been on the New York Times bestseller list for over 500 weeks.
