Brooklyn was a guest of designer Tory Burch on Monday night (May 7) for the 2012 MET Gala held in New York City. Brooklyn hit the red carpet in a Tory Burch knife-pleated slate blue silk tulle and crepe gown with hand-embroidered floral appliqués and House of Lavande jewels. Brooklyn Decker, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Banks, and Anna Kendrick are all smiles on the cover of Redbook magazine’s June 2012 issue, on newsstands May 15th. In the interview, the stars open up about their experiences with relationships, marriage and motherhood. Here’s what Brooklyn had to share:

I would hope I’m in a position where I have a guy who is going to be helping me all the way through-even when I’m moody and craving ice cream at 12 a.m. It didn’t take me long to know that Andy was the guy I was going to marry, and [what kind of dad he'd be] absolutely went through my mind when making that decision.

The stars of ‘Battleship’ attended the photo call at the Battleship Missouri Memorial on April 28 in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Brooklyn (wearing Dolce & Gabbana), Taylor Kitsch, Rihanna, Alexander Skarsgard and director Peter Berg met up with Col. Gregory D. Gadson, who serves as the director of the U.S. Army Wounded Warrior Program.

Brooklyn attended CinemaCon 2012 held at Caesars Palace on April 25 in Las Vegas. During the convention she met up with American Pie‘s Eugene Levy. Brooklyn wore a bright colorblock dress by Honor. These days Brooklyn Decker, 25, plays in blockbusters opposite superstars such as Cameron Diaz and Alexander Skarsgård. But it’s clear this fashion lover from North Carolina hasn’t forgotten her days as a top model, when she posed for Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle Outfitters and, perhaps most famously, the cover of Sports Illustrated’s 2010 swimsuit issue.

Decker made a stylish arrival on set (a glam Hollywood Hills mansion) in Current/Elliott black leather leggings, a Sass & Bide black tank and a By Malene Birger beige peacoat. In front of the camera, she breezed through the sexy-sporty shoot wearing looks by Victoria Beckham, Peter Pilotto and Stella McCartney—proving she’ll no doubt be a natural on the red carpet circuit this summer, too.

On her style: “I like the tomboy look and military influences. I like things that have a little bit of an edge to them. I love a masculine spin on a feminine look. I’m trying to wear things that are tailored to me so you can actually see my shape but it’s like pulling teeth getting me to do it–it’s an evolution.”

When they asked me to come tonight, I was like, ‘Of course, I wear you guys all the time.’ It was a no-brainer.

FabSugar: Tell us a little about your look and how you styled your Splendid tee for tonight?
Brooklyn Decker: “I’m wearing Opening Ceremony, Splendid, and Miu Miu. I love basics, but you’ve got to mix them with something a little funky, so I picked the Opening Ceremony skirt. I’m a bit of a tomboy so as soon as I put on this skirt, truth be told, I felt way too girlie, so I put on sneakers.”

FS: Are you having a sneaker obsession?
BD: “Yeah, the Isabel Marant sneakers and these [Miu Miu] sneakers — I love them. Again, I’m a total tomboy, which is why I love Splendid because it’s very boy-meets-girl, t-shirt and jeans kind of stuff.”

It happened while the couple were watching Bridesmaids—her sixth time, his first—and Roddick made the mistake of saying aloud what he thought of Kristen Wiig’s character: “That chick is crazy.” Decker swiftly corrected him, both in the hotel room and on Twitter. “I feel like her character is my inner soul,” she explains now. “The ways she acts are my inner thoughts, but I just can’t express them because they’re too nerdy. So if he was calling her crazy, I guess that makes me slightly crazy.”
